"Welcome to Midday: History Repeating" is a solo show about how I moved from the south and ended up in a job as a Victorian house museum tour guide in Pittsburgh, As I led recurring tours through both public and private rooms where a robber baron and his family once lived, it dawned on me that it was similar to how I compartmentalized my life. I had made a series of mistakes and to publicly save face, I couldn’t let on how miserable I was in private. No matter where we go, history will repeat until we learn from our past.
